Back in the 80’s and early 90’s the NBA Dunk Contest featured stars of the game such as Dominique Wilkins, Michael Jordan, Clyde Drexler and a young Kobe Bryant. Hell, even the early 2000’s featured Vince Carter and more recently Dwight Howard was convinced to take part because everyone knows how much of a competitive maniac he is. Despite calls from legends like Wilkins and Charles Barkley and even a cash incentive offer from Magic Johnson for the mega-stars of the game such as LeBron James to compete, it isn’t going to happen anytime soon. But, for this year at least, that’s OK because there have been two mind-blowing dunks DURING GAME ACTION by Toronto’s Terrence Ross and Pacers’ budding superstar Paul George in recent weeks that will in all likelihood blow whatever the eventual dunk contest winning effort is. Just look at where Ross started his jump OVER the Manimal Kenneth Faried:
